Those are two different questions. One comes across as bigoted and the other doesn't. But you've now linked bigoted beliefs with Smith, so good job. To be clear, I'm not saying she's bigoted but you have with your stupid choice of wording. Again, your damaging her image on here, so if that's what you were going for, great job!
Also your comment above (the bolded part) doesn't make sense (double negative) and I have no idea what you're talking about.

Again, maybe try being less condescending and arrogant by calling me stupid, lacking reading comprehension and nitpicking apart what I actually didn’t say. Where did I say LGBQT people don’t have it tough or don’t have challenges?
I’m not going to reply to you anymore. You guys can carry on with your twitter reposting and thanks, have a good day.

Could you elaborate on how gay people for example are having a tough time, I see more openly gay and trans people than ever before. I think some of you on here complain too much. And if it wasn’t Smith that won the leadership and someone else you would still be crying.
|
I think it may have been this part, but I'm no expert. You didn't explicitly say they don't have a tough time, so you can wiggle out of it on semantics, but you certainly heavily implied that things are just fine and dandy for them.

I've never really been too invested in provincial politics before...most leaders have seemed to be average to poor. This is the first premier that seems to be actually crazy or an idiot. Even at his worst, I think Kenney is miles better than where we find ourselves now. Unfortunate.
I do think/hope that there is going to be a big anti-UCP drive for the voting polls come election time. Ready to be let down though.

Wait, are you suggesting that because you see them, you can't comprehend how they might struggle? Seriously? I guess that's the type of deep thinking that allows you to support someone like Smith. Unreal.

If you don't want people to pick apart what you say, then maybe don't say it? It's an internet forum, if you're not prepared to discuss, critique and be critiqued, than what's the point?
You asked how LGBTQ people have it tough, implying they don't. If you can't see what you actually said in this thread, than what would you call that? It's some kind of comprehension issue. I suggested an alternate word choice for you for next time, implying that maybe you didn't convey what you had actually hoped to convey. Meaning, I acknowledged that you had a legimate point of view but maybe expressed it poorly. Then you had this temper tantrum.
Also, I said your wording was stupid, not that you were stupid. Another comprehension issue?
I'm perfectly fine with your opinions on the UCP and Smith, but you are the one that seems all bent out of shape on how people on here have different opinions than you. If you don't like what people are posting, than how about post things, ideas, concepts, whatever that support your views/ideas instead of just crying and whining about how you don't like people on here. You're not adding anything to the discussion. For example, if you think she'll (Smith) be great for business in Alberta, than post about that. If you don't like what someone posted, critique it and post something refuting that they said. Instead, you just seem to complain that people are being mean to Smith.
I had some pretty respectful conversations with 14Roman14, who supported Smith. I strongly disagreed with his view of the world, but it was fine. We were able to converse back and forth for a while. You immediately get upset with people that they post negative things about your politician of choice and keep whining about it.
I've never posted a twitter thing in here before. Regardless, it's a politics thread. In general, people (of all political backgrounds) love to complain about politics and politicians. This isn't anything new and its not new to Smith. People complained about Kenney, Notley, Trudeau and Harper as well. What the hell are you looking for from a politics thread?

Yes, if you read exactly what he wrote and how he wrote it, it reads like LGBTQ people can't have hardships because he sees them around places.
But just because that's what he said, it doesn't mean he said it (apparently), so don't put words in his mouth!

Hear that Ottawa, Alberta won't enforce C-48 and there's nothing you can do about it!
