This all started last off season actually. Ristolainen trade was the first domino of many moves and adjustments that have led to a complete culture shift. The team was playing like this the last 20 games of last season too, just no one was paying attention.

gaudreau has 4 goals and 2 assists, and is looking like he hasn’t slowed down.
Huberdeau has 2 assists.
Huberdeau is playing on a top line with toffolie and I think that’s slowing him down. But gaudreau has blankenburg.. an amazing defensive powerhouse!!!
