Wasn't a flat start but wasn't great if you get that goal early in I think they come in waves.

Meh. Gimmie by Markstrom on the first goal. Flames had lots of good chances. Just keep it going. I'd be more concerned if they weren't getting any scoring chances at all.

I agree. If not for Thompson standing on his head, it's at least tied.

I'm not sure Thompson was all that great. Everything went to his glove. Damn wrong handed goalie throwing things out of whack.

It's only his 2nd start but yes it's a little concerning. He has two periods to make up for those stinkers.

Team is playing fine. Vegas’ goalie is better than ours in that period. We can get it back

1 High Danger chance all period and it was the deflected goal.
You’d be okay with that if Markstrom didn’t already spot them a 1-0 lead with an absolute shocker.

Skaters Keep playing he same way and you should be fine though.

Not gonna happen. Two Alberta boys calling the game. They are the worst-anti homers ever.

Hrudey is ill, and I wonder if Ball is under some protocol because Kelly has COVID.

Pure speculation.

Yikes, Markstrom at a 0.86% to star the season? I was really hoping he would come out strong after the way those playoffs ended for him.
One of the things I always loved about Kipper was that when he had a bad game, pretty good chance the next outing was a shutout. Markstrom could do with some of that bounce back ability.

Frustrating, playing good and marry ####s the bed on the first goal and then the ref starts the bad calls.
