being used to Backlund centering line 2 for over a decade now , holy cow were we missing out without having a scoring/playmaking 2C there (no knock on backs) . center depth really does count for a lot

There’s not a strong puck carrier between the 3 forwards on that first line, I think they’ll struggle to move the puck up the ice and keep it there unless one of them steps up the handling.
