The dome prices appear to be uniform for all events whether that’s NHL games, AHL games, WHL games or Concerts. If that’s the same in Edmonton is Katz charging Oil Kings fans almost as much for two Pepsis and popcorns as it costs for two WHL tickets? If so that’s who I really feel for, not the tier 1 Oilers fans
OK, so here's the thing - a cheeseburger and a pop is $22.
2 cheeseburgers with 2 pops and 2 small bags of lays is $55.
So even leaving everything else aside, they're basically charging you $11 for two small bags of Lays.

looked minor league until the pp where Kane hacked Hughes face bloody and they were for whatever reason allowed to just keep playing while he was down on the ice . such an undisciplined team but with no toughness to back it up
Yeah it's kind of ridiculous that a max fine is only $5k when the average NHL player is nearly $3.2 million/season. It's the equivalent of a $150 fine for a person making $100k a year.
Well, no, they just need to suspend him. If the players are going to lobby to keep the fines low (which is the reason that it's only $5K), send the message that that's not even worthwhile as a disciplinary measure and skip right to the 1 game suspension.

I never understood why the players union would lobby to keep fines low. I just looked at the 2021 list of fines and almost all of them are punishment for taking liberties on another player. Seems like something the player union would want to deter.

Plus, doesn't the money collected from fines go to a fund that supports the players after their careers?
It's more of a forced donation than a fine really.
