Default New Halo 3 Vid

This shows a lot of the maps that will be in the new game, as well as some of the weapons in action. It just talks about the multiplayer aspect of the game, which I think is undoubtably the most important. Looks pretty awesome. The man cannon and trip mines are sweet!

I don't understand the love for Halo, it seems totally to be a manufactured hype machine to pull in gamers that have never tried the various genres that make up Halo before...It's honestly not that great. The controls are clumsy, the graphics are average, and the level design is frankly boring and the storyline uninspired.

I mean Halo looked amazing when I saw the development videos from Bungie before Microsoft bought them...that was like the Halo trailer from 1997 which was revolutionary at the time and I watched that video over and over again. But by the time the actual game was released by Microsoft (delayed for years and remade over and over again until the Xbox came out) there were many games that came out that does what Halo does much better.

I do like the asymmetrical offense vs. defense / choke point maps they are putting in but hey...this was done back in 1998 by Team Fortress and Unreal Tournament in excellent ways.

I just play it for the live multiplayer.

There is no game that even comes close to being as fun as playing this with your buddies online.

Yeah, I never got the whole fuss about it either. But then again I'm not a multiplayer so that could be why.

Halo is ok, but like Gears of War is 100% hype and polish. No depth at all.

With that said, i'll no doubt buy it... then sell it after 2 weeks like i've done with every other Halo, and GoW.

It should have sone cool online aspects.

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/24927.html And the hype continues. I must say since watching those ads and the multiplayer vids I can't wait any longer for this game to come out.
