Don't expect Kadri until the end of camp. They're not pushing him into playing because of how late the cup run went. Honestly, no rush.

Not even close to his final form. So excited.

I was wondering myself how much video Sutter would watch of the other game. Sou9nds like he won’t go back and watch every second he missed.

I thought Petterson looked great in the first and then I didn't see him in the second and he skated one shift in the third. Shorthouse only noticed him go down the tunnel in the third. Curious what happened to him. I was hoping to see more of him.

I hope Emilio is alright. This is a huge year for him.

1,000 professional games. 1 way contract I believe. My guess he wants to coach or management in the future. That’s a lot of miles in the AHL.

He's on an AHL contract for this season.

So, technically 1-way ... just the "way" is the AHL

It was to be expected last night but also kinda crazy to see that almost every name on a Calgary jersey was someone who doesn't play for them any more. I maybe saw 5 jerseys with current Falmes on them. A ton of Tkachuks (one kid had an X over the name LOL) and of course a bunch of Gaudreaus, plus the odd Monahan. And of course legacy names like Iginla, Kipper and Lanny.
No Huberdeaus that I could see.

Are they doing that thing where they re-crest jerseys for the departed players for a small fee, or whatever? I recall them doing that at some point years back.

I think it's easier when you actually have new players wearing those same numbers. Much harder to change a 13 into a 10.

Couple thoughts from the game at the dome:
Looks like Vladar's footwork and post play has improved. Would like to see how that looks against better shooters
I thought the knock on Zary was footspeed? He seemed pretty speedy out there.

His footspeed was always above average, he just had a weird looking stride that people couldn't get over. Even while he was flying by other players.
