Way too much baseball content on the FAN. If it is not flames talk it is not worth listening to so we get 1.5 hours of decent radio these days since the jays games start at 4:45

Simply unbelievable, I'm listening to Steinberg yesterday on the way home around 4:40 anticipating Flames @ 5 when a commercial comes on so of course I start flipping XM stations to then return to 960 at 4:51 only to find a Blue Jays game now being broadcast?!?!
It wasn't like it was the Jays pregame show either, it seemed like they were in the middle of the inning so when on Calgary radio was it deemed intelligent to stop reporting on the first day of our cities NHL team's training camp for a baseball game played in Toronto?.... seriously is it just me?

I don't know that this is the case with Nick, it looks as if he is moving on on his own terms which is as good as one can hope for. It does suck that the wages and perks are no longer what they once were in radio but these guys moving on is a good thing.

I'm with you. I always dread baseball season starting because it just means endless drivel on anything Jays related, and look forward to when it's done in October so we can get a break from it for a few months. I get it, Rogers owns the team, so they are milking it as much as possible and force feeding listeners, whether they want it or not. It just doesn't make for pleasant radio, and is one of the reasons why I've basically tuned out the station since Boomer and Pinder left.
