Another night Tuchel can be glad Roman isn't the owner. Chelsea have looked dreadful to start this year.

Ha. Chelsea.
Senator Clay Davis didn't even predict a massive Chelsea win, he's losing his anti-touch.

maybe, but I kind of think it's the other way around. He won the CL for Roman, he has done absolutely nothing for Boehly. Shorter leash, probably.

Yeah maybe, but Boehly has been pretty patient with managers, if the Dodgers are any indication of how he wants to run things. But yeah Tuchel really has been riding the wave of the CL victory, even in the PL last year they were underperformers.

gotta be it for Domenico Tedesco at Leipzig. Their start to the season has been abysmal, to say the least ... would expect Marco Rose to take over.

Worked great for me. I think we have to potentially admit that City are head and shoulders above everyone at the moment.
They were already amazing and then plunked Haaland onto their roster. Its just unfair. I think the only way to bring them down is to get them on a FFP rap and get them banned.

Honestly they probably only lose if they get complacent and beat themselves.
The team always created chances but Striker was kind of a weakness the last couple years once Aguero started to decline...
And now you put a guy who is an elite striker into a team that creates quality chances and dominates possession.
12 goals in 7 games across the PL and Champions League seems like a pretty good return so far.

Short of Haaland getting hit by a truck I'd say City are the team to beat in Europe at the moment.
And I think Liverpool stood the best chance, but at the moment they look like they are outta gas and outta mojo, I think last season really took it out of them.

There are days when I curse Chelsea for pipping us to Werner....but not as many days as when I'm thankful for the bullet dodged.

They are going to get to the semi or quarter final and pep is going to start 3 dms with KDB and haaland on the bench and lose
He over thinks it every time late in the cups with city, it's like he wants to win without his best team so he gets more credit for it

Let's not forget City just drew with lowly Aston Villa.
They look unstoppable most days but they have weird off days where they look like a different, much weaker team.
Later on in CL competition, they could definitely bounced on one of those days.

Well, Day 1 of the CL was a managerial blood bath it appears.

Losing Mane was always gonna hurt Liverpool, but their defense turning to poo with that mediocre at best midfield in front? Might be a very long year for Liverpool.

This is all kinds of grim.
I dont think Gomez starts the second half. He is way, way off the pace.
