That's 3 runs directly on him for that half-assed play.

Okay, so Teo is out and Tapia is in. I know the broadcast team is saying he's out because of his foot, but I think this was a message by Schneider.

Also, if Teo's foot wasn't good enough to go, shouldn't he have tested it in the warmup for the inning and let the team know something was up? Brutally selfish either way.

Edit: Sorry, I rarely get riled up by baseball because it's a game of mistakes, but that seemed like such a half-hearted effort it just bugged me.

He looked angry when he left the dugout. The ball off of the foot might be a convenient explanation for removing Teo. He hasn’t been good over the past few games.

If I was to put a positive spin on it, the Jays could use a blowout win or a blowout loss to protect the high leverage bullpen guys. We might be looking at the blowout loss/burn the tape situation which sucks but sometimes things just don’t go well.

Of course, I hope they come back and am not writing it off.
