They’re not signing either of those unless they swing a trade to unload salary. Shame they have 20 stuck in Ryu next year who likely will not get to play until maybe the end of the year. They will be needing to extend some of their players and that alone will drive payroll past 180 million. I don’t think they plan to unload Springer, Gaussman or Barrios and the young players are just going to get more expensive.

As much as I don’t love the ticky tacky nature of him barely coming off of the base, but he came off of the base and was tagged out…which has always been the rule. Not sure how you can argue with that rule or what could be changed to deal with it.

I agree. The only change you could make is not to allow it to be challenged but I think it isn’t really a change that needs to be made.
