Drouin is expected to be healthy by the start of training camp.
I wonder in Lucic is still on the way out as well. Then the Habs could throw in Gallagher to get under the cap. He had a disappointing season last year, but could still turn it around. The #### disturbing factor with Kadri and Gallagher on the same team would be amazing.

I wonder if this speaks to how little faith they had in Sean’s recovery?

Two hip injuries, multiple other injuries over the years, and a new 2C.
At best, Monahan is coming back to play 3C/4C or on the wing of one of the other lines.
I think there's just way too much he would've had to come back from.

I want zero part of Drouin. In a recent interview he said because of the permanent damage to his wrist he can longer shoot the puck well and needs to change his game.

I think it speaks to Lucic not approving a trade to any of the teams that would want him to reach the floor. It was a short list.

Holy crap, we give Monahan away plus a 1st rounder just to clear cap space? This is basically repeating history when the Flames gave away Regehr to take on Kotalik's contract from the Sabres. Oh, and then the Flames are gonna overpay Kadri and then buy him out in a 3 years when he's worthless.

Every time I hit refresh on my google Sean Monahan search tab, the wiki entry on the right has a new team. Panthers tweet eyes, it says he is a predator, then the tweets about Montreal and it says he plays for Montreal. Now it says Carolina, which makes me think there's a bit of an edit war over there.
