Pens trade Thomas Chabot to Colorado for Jacob Slavin and cap diff.

Both dmen have equivalent ratings, Slavin much better defensively and was looking for that bump. Chabot a bit younger and better offence so works for Col.

No doubt I take a hit this season, but I've been trying to get Berg back for a long time. And I think Faber is a really good prospect that will excel in Minny (both in the NHL and CPHL). Yamamoto is an icky Oiler. Gross.

With Weegar gone I think Carlsson will get a bump in ice time.

Palat wasn't exactly sought after in free agency so doubt I was getting a big return.
