100% I do. A really strong offer at that.

I bet if Ohtani gets traded its to the Dodgers. They have like 7 top 100 prospects and Ohtani wouldn't even change cities.
Having him on the Jays would be incredible though.
Ohtani
Manoah
Gausman
Berrios
Kikuchi/Stripling
And then add that power left handed bat to the 3 hole...
Springer
Vladdy
Ohtani
Kirk
Bichette
Hernandez
Gurriel
Chapman
Jansen/Biggio/Espinal/Tapia
Damn...

Shohei Ohtani seems like he could fit in well with the fun Toronto Blue Jays team. This young club with some veterans sprinkled in could use both his pitching arm and left-handed bat. Perhaps nobody in baseball could specifically use both more than Toronto.
How much could they give up for Ohtani?
The full trade includes Gabriel Moreno, Rickey Tiedemann, Jordan Groshans, Sem Robberse, Adam Kloffenstein, and Hayden Juenger going to the Angels for Ohtani. Like any massive trade for this one-of-a-kind superstar, it's going to leave the Blue Jays feeling a little barren.
This trade exclusively includes prospects. The Blue Jays give up Moreno (1), Tiedemann (3), Groshans (4), Robberse (7), Kloffenstein (11), and Juenger (26) all with the mindset to win a championship either this season or next season.
Moreno is the easy headliner as the current fifth-best prospect in all of baseball. Tiedemann (62) and Groshans (83) are also in the top 100 at the moment.
The Angels fetch a mix of bats and arms in this deal. If it's not enough, the Blue Jays shouldn't hesitate to add a little more. None of their prospects are all that untouchable, even Moreno. The arrival of Alejandro Kirk this season as an All-Star catcher makes him terrific trade fodder they could use as a headliner in a trade for a superstar like Ohtani.

Same I just don’t really think any of the trade five top prospects for either is going to work. Ohtani is a big risk and Soto despite his amazing bat is already a negative in field and on the base paths.

If Ohtani could sign an extension, I'd deal in a pretty high price. Frankly I'd pay way more for him than Soto, in a trade. From the sounds of it from Shapiro's interviews yesterday, I don't think they're big game hunting, as they do want a sustainable prospect base. Last year I think they decided to pull the trigger because their prospect base was pretty heavy but it certainly sounds like this is a good place. They definitely need bullpen help, and a couple bats off the bench. I don't think any of them will cost an arm and a leg as there will likely be incremental upgrades.

Looks like Bichette is out day to day with a sore shoulder. Springer available off the bench.

Maybe Bo shouldn’t charge full speed into the of to get to a fly ball that’s the Lfs responsibility.

Yeah, I think all games on Apple TV are free. It's still a pain though for a lot of people.

Ohtani overrated?
He's literally an ACE starting pitcher who also happens to hit full-time and brings with him a 135 wRC+ left handed bat
The guy makes history on almost a weekly basis.
Calling him overrated is.. ..interesting?

A modern day Babe Ruth is “overrated”.
These are the kind of hot takes you can only find on CP. it’s why I keep coming back.

If Soto or Ohtani can be had for top prospects you do the deal and run. Anyone remember who was traded for Miguel Cabrera? A bunch of prospects that turned out to be nothing.
