Some hard contact against Gausman so far. Hoping he gets things on track.

I literally don't know a single player who started for KC.

The Blue Jays can make a potential Cy Young pitcher (Zach Wheeler) look like a mortal and a mortal look like a Cy Young winner.

Le sigh.
Bad strike 1 call, then another strikeout for a Jays batter with RISP. This time by Teo.

This is a team that seems to think that their talent at the plate will let them beat inferior teams. They don’t seem to realize that winning requires talent + effort + focus.
They seem to lack the effort and focus against bad teams and end up letting them beat them.

Man. If Cimber let that go that was a GIDP even with the fastest guy in MLB, which Bobby Witt Jr is.
Instead we get a key out because of the Royals lead runner getting silly, but now have the fastest sprinter in MLB on 1st base.

Crap, a groundout. And Teo just missed a 2-run HR previous pitch.

Oh god. 3-1 Royals. Why can't more Jays hitters put up ABs like that? You know, foul off pitch after pitch, then get a hit that truly matters.

It’s really nice of the Blue Jays to let a AAA pitcher pitch to the AAA Royals.
