Why a 2 year one way deal? He's never been able to crack an NHL roster. This is by far the most puzzling signing of the three so far.

He looked somewhat promising on the Blackhawks and looked passable on the Avs when they had a bunch of injuries. He'd be okay as a 7th-8th guy that can step in infrequently.
