Yup, iirc, the bridge was no ordinary door, they closed the blast doors, which probably meant like 4 doors to slice through. It looked like it was 4 feet thick, and a light sabre resistant alloy.

it was so thick that the tip of the saber doesn't even show on the other side, but clearly Qui Gon was expecting to eventually get through.
the door Reva cut was way thinner and wouldn't have held very long, but it basically just gave up and opened on its own.

Did Anakin stab Reva in the gut with a light saber when she was a youngling?
Maybe she's got a mechanically repaired mid section like Boba's sidekick?

I had a similar thought on the second watch. The Vader scenes are incredible and long overdue. Love it.

Okay. Kenobi no-look backhanding a laser beam into a Stormtrooper is bad as f***.

All of this is so true.
But it's all forgiven because Vader is ####ing awesome and Ewan is just as awesome. Whatever AI tech they used for JEJ's voice, they should have used in Rogue One. It was lacking in that movie.
The flashback training duel was sublime.
Also, at the risk of starting another sequel pile-on, this show again makes the sequels worse, which is hilarious at this point. The ####ing dark lord of the ####ing Sith, one of the most powerful force users ever to exist had to strain to pull back a space ship using the force. Rey without one iota of training casually pulls one out of the sky like it ain't no thang. Like frig off Disney.
Can we get a Darth Vader saga movie series?

Everybody seems to survive saber stabs to the gut in this show, even though they clearly show they have enough energy to melt through giant bulkheads like butter.
They still haven't explained how the Grand Inquisitor survived (even though everybody knew he would since he is in other series). Like the other poster said, Sith/Jedi need to start learning from Highlander.

They are using re-speecher for James Earl Jones which is like deep faking but for speech. JEJ is is now 91 so they know they really know they need to lock this down.
I found re-speecher was really bad for Mark Hamill trying to sound like Young Luke in the Mandalorian/Boba Fett though.

I don't know if we need to know how the Grand Inquisitor survived.
did he end up in the same facility as Anakin, where cruel surgical droids without the use of pain medication gave him droid parts, while the pain sharpened his hate and need to revenge?
Did Sidious and Vader use some kind of twisted Sith Alchemy to heal him through the Dark side of the Force?
Who knows.
For all we know Reva will make her way to Tatooine and die their of her wounds after confronting Kenobi or seeking forgiveness.
The one thing by design with a Lighsaber is that the victim is not going to bleed to death. The hot plasma certainly cauterized the wound.

I don't know, maybe Maul hit a major organ, maybe he lost the will to live. I mean we can certainly question why Fin didn't die when Ren tore open is back like a can opener.
Couldn't tell you. Its a plot device, Qui-Gon needed to die, his hero's journey was over and he was the first step in the fall of the Republic.
Maybe this is a part of Reva's hero's journey.
Couldn't tell you.

Was more rhetorical. Just kinda dumb how some people survive being impaled with the laser sword and some don’t.

It's really no different that what we see in other movies/tv shows, where gunshots or stab wounds can be anything from instant death to a minor flesh wound depending on what the story requires.

It's because Star Wars under Disney does not have any stakes.

There’s probably just not as much data on Hamill’s voice. Most of his acting catalogue has him using different voices.

Now I'm imagining the AI screwing up and Luke speaks like the Joker.

I find that really annoying like ret-conning Darth Maul's death from being cut in half and plummeting down a shaft because his hatred kept him alive.
