Teo has hit 2 bombs an (almost) combined 900' the last 2 games. That's neat.

Goddammit. Splitting the Orioles at home before facing the Yanks is less than ideal.
If the Orioles spend some money on pitching they could be a very good team sooner than later. They can hit with the best of them.

9-1 Os. Call 9-1-1 on this game. Actually, no, don't.
Just burn the tape then get ready for the Yanks.

Damn.
I thought the Jays would roll through this part of the schedule now that their hitters were awake, but Kikuchi fell apart and now Gausman has hit a rough patch.

Ah well, even with this loss the Jays are on a 95 win pace.
Just looks worse than it is because the goddamn yankees are on a 120 win pace. Ridiculous
Jays are still in 3rd place in the AL right now

Gausman loading the O's up with some bulletin board material saying, "we should beat them more than lose to them"

Well... yeah. They should. There's no way to look at this other than as an unmitigated failure. And they keep dropping opportunities to pull away from the Rays. It's going to come back and bite them.

Yeah, you want that Jays/Rays playoff series at Rogers and not at the Trop. We all know how that ends.

They're only two games behind Houston for 2nd overall in the AL and have the 3rd best record in the AL
Unmitigated failure?

They went 6-4 against KC, DET, and BAL
Big two weeks coming up. NYY (3), CWS (3), MIL(3), BOS(3), TB (5)

Yup. If they go over .600 on that stretch all is forgiven but... yeah. That 95 win pace can pretty quickly become 90 and I remember last year.

Yeah, 6-4 against KC, DET and BAL is a fail. It's only 10 games, but it's a fail.

It's not a fail, but it's not a success either. 7-3 was the bare minimum.

If we can get a good start from Stripling and get some bats going to get a W tonight that would feel pretty good going into Manoah's start tomorrow. Who knows what will happen with Kikuchi Sunday.

Yeah Kikuchi is so unknown right now. Frustrating. Thought he settled down a while ago but not sure now.
