So is Arraez the best hitter since Tony Gwynn?

which is exactly the kind of insight I want from the colour guy
it's pretty clear they are, because they aren't biting on the splitter and they're teeing up on the fastball, but he is doing a great job of analyzing, discussing and highlighting it

It hasn’t been a banner day for Teo. Hopefully he can turn it around.

so Vladdy did the right thing with none out and didn't risk trying to stretch out the double
as a result, Teo hits into a DP
then Kirk puts it in the 3rd deck for a SOLO homer
not their day

3 hits, including a homer, and they get one run

I have no idea why Jansen wouldn't swing at that 3-1 pitch.
On the plus side, they're still within range to turn this thing around.

Haha cheeky play by Gordon. A little flinch outwards by his elbow to get hit by that slow curve.

Well, that was quite the play by Springer.

Is Arraez the best hitter the game has ever seen?! Simply cannot get the guy out. Just line drives all over the place.

Bummer, those dropped fly balls in the first ended up being the difference. Oh well, on to the next one. Plenty to like about the way the blue jays are playing lately.

I think the bullpen is still a little thin, easier said than done to acquire reliable arms for the pen, but Jays management has shown the ability to unearth value without giving up too much. McInvale and Panik for Cimber (and Dickerson) comes to mind. David Robertson is 37 years old but has a ton of strikeout ability in him, or someone in that sort of ilk, who you won't have to give up a ton to acquire.

Stupid game.
Jesus the Jays have to better than that.
Spot the other team 3 runs before you even get to hit because you can't catch fly balls in the sun? ...and then end up losing by 2 runs.
You're going to lose games, but you should at least try to make the other team beat you instead of beating yourselves.
