Was live on 960 just now. Congratulations Darryl on the award and a great season, regardless of how it ended. Excellent job bringing the team back to competitiveness and winning a playoff round for the first time in 7 years. Can’t wait to see what “unfinished business” gets us next year!

#Flames head coach Darryl Sutter is the 2022 winner of the Jack Adams Award.
Sutter is a first time winner and beats out New York’s Gerard Gallant and Florida’s Andrew Brunette. He joins Bob Hartley (2015) as the second coach in franchise history to win the award.

Congrats to Darryl on this achievement. I know I was critical of some of his coaching decisions in the last round but, honestly, questioning him when he has the knowledge, experience, and information we will never have makes me realize I was just venting. I hope he stay around to see the team to the ultimate goal. Winning the cup with him on the ice would be truly special.
