Flames looked nervous and tentative at the start of the game, but got much better as the period went on. Pretty good job on 97 in that period, but they have to stop trading chances and getting too loosey goosey defensively. That style plays right into the Oilers' hands. They want river hockey. Don't give it to them.

Yup. Magic some times, all over the ice, just the tonic against a fast team... and other times he looks like Bambi out there.

It's really incredible how with Tanev, he's genuinely good, and without Tanev, he's genuinely a lot worse. Says a lot for Tanev.
