Fan apathy here I come... I no longer care. Basically you have to bottom out for years and end up with elite talent to get ahead in life (McDavid, Mackinnon, Stamkos). We are not this team.

I actually appreciate the effort management and coaching has made in putting a winner together. But the Flames didn't fail hard enough to have the "privilege" in drafting a McDavid or a Mackinnon. So here we are... and we've been beaten by both. I can't watch knowing that failure is finally breeding success up north.

Good effort tonight but hard to win when making so many mental mistakes. Doesn’t look like we will advance unfortunately.

Too many unforced errors.

Hopefully Calgary has enough pride not to be eliminated on home ice!

Three quick wins for the flames and it’s on to the next round

Being a Flames fan, there's probably a good chance the team will come back and tie the series to give us all hope only to rip out and #### the bed in game 7

The flames honestly really played well, just Didn’t get the stops from Marky, the big first goal is brutal to give up, and the soft play by Kylington on the game winner is pretty pathetic.

Top line basically a no show and we still outplayed the Oilers by a wide margin.

Tanev is a god damn warrior and should have the C sewn to to his chest ASAP.
As far as I am concerned him and Backlund are the absolute studs of studs and their character should never ever be questioned by anyone for the rest of time.

I don’t know this team is making it so hard on themselves with just critical errors at the worst time. Marky has got to be better, I love the guy but there have been some softies this series.

Yeah, frankly I think this series is on Markstrom. He has not been the rock solid goaltender needed. Too many bad goals allowed in the series. He made some great ones too, and some goals are fully on the defense, but the awful goals he let in gave the Oilers a lot of momentum. He just didn't measure up to the series.

Yeah tie game in the third period you bury that guy or at least control his stick. I hope Kylington learns from that mistake as it sure was a costly one.

Please take Kylington out for Mackey next game. At least he could box out that RNH wussy. Jeeze that was bad.

Having a .920 save percentage is great if it's consistent.

Having a .950 save percentage against some teams and a .830 save percentage against a few others is disastrous.

Does Markstrom have a NMC? Because he might be good trade bait for the rebuild?

Very true. But also has to give you a sliver of hope. It ain’t Martin Brodeur down there.

At least Calgary showed some fight...a lot better than game 3... problem is they needed this confidence game in Game 3.

not over, but in the immortal words of Jack Gotta (former stamps coach for you kids), the Flames have "one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel"...

Yeah it really can’t be overstated - Markstrom is putting a Brian Elliott level performance on in this round.

So far, this 3-1 deficit is on him primarily.
