Apparently the shooter was being pursued by the cops who were shooting at him as he stormed the school so the idea any kind of armed response would work is out the window, he was wearing body armour and all but immune to gun fire

The Sheriff (I think) made a quick statement as they are still investigating, so didn't take questions. He did make sure to ask people to have the victims in their prayers though. Glad they're still making sure to keep thoughts and prayers at top of mind.

Almost all of these mass killers are socially isolated, bitter, single men. So social breakdown and alienation are root causes.
