I may have missed this, but still no Tanev? Is that confirmed?
We just haven’t seen the flames team that finished first in the pacific. Frustrating. If they can play the game that got them there they win the series.
They haven’t been playing flames hockey . Game one was complete chaos, game 2 looked great and then turned into the penalty and Mcdavid show. Chaos and wild games favour the oilers.

Tanev is just a massive loss for the Flames. Not only is he the best defensive d-man, it changes the dynamics for the entire blueline. His loss seems like just a sidebar story in the media, but it should be making a lot more news.
