Don’t know if anyone has said this, but I’m impressed with the linesman on this play. Either he spotted it go off the Oiler’s skate from the other side with an obstructed view, or wasn’t sure and let the play continue to be sorted out on replay. Either way, really good job on that play.

I give Kylington a pass here because throughout the season, he has had some slick defensive checks against McDavid, often winning the puck cleanly.
And one of his weapons, that I think is bs, but must be legal, is getting one arm on a defender like how a running back straight arms in football. Defender isn't allowed to do it but mccrossover is.

BWWWHAAHAHAH. I love how he says it wasn't an ideal start from the "group". He let in two before folks sat down in their seats.

When he said "yeah its not good, when you get scored on in the first minute" did anybody else yell "Twice! Twice Mike!" out loud?

It was clearly a dive.

Honestly if the defender feels mcdiver going down they should help him along.

Mike Smith and accountability are like oil and water.

Pun intended.

He’s a slippery one.

Pun also intended.

My favorite part is his hat has 3 on it. Like it was meant to be.

I love that no one in Edmonton has an answer for this.

I don’t understand how this narrative continues. Flames scored the most goals in the division this year. They had three 40 goal scorers. They play a fast uptempo game.

It’s just lazy pandering to the local fans I guess. He can’t actually believe that?

No doubt he's the best individual offensive player in the league, but that can't make up for not being a cohesive team.

It feels weird not having an Oilers game to watch & laugh at on the day between Flames games.

Those people suck. And Brady is awesome.

And now, for the first time ever, I have reason not to ne completely apathetic toward the Ottawa Senators.

He's doing great things for his organization just by being out there, being an awesome brother, and showing more character than some entire teams have on their 23 man rosters.
Meh, if they dont want him.
We'll take him.

Sounds like he assumed the Flames are the 2012/14 kings simply because they're coached by Sutter.

That's just incredibly lazy, stereotyping analysis.

The first thing Darryl said when he took over is that they need to execute faster. That was priority number ONE.

He wanted the players to be gassed from their first shifts of the game.

Also, the Oilers are the older team. So lol.

I'm still just ####ing tickled at how the Oilers have been portrayed as a young, up and coming team since 2007.

They just perpetually live in specific points in time and don't even bother to use their eyeballs to influence or revise their opinions. Its fascinating.

This is a really good point. I kind of forgot how those games went and focused on the 2-2 season series. But I went back and looked and our XGf% ranged from 52% to 57% in the regular season and 68.5% last night. Those are the type of numbers that should win a series.

If the senators and their fans don’t want Brady drinking in the stands in Calgary, they should probably make the playoffs and give him something else to do with his time.

All the Sens fans I'm friends with or follow on Twitter think it's great to see Brady cheering on his brother.
