I believe in '04 they did this for the SCF, ~15,000 rush seating tickets for a $5 donation to the food bank at CO-OP. because the games were early in Tampa Bay and it was so cheap it was a great family experience, like going to the teddy bear game or something.

I just spoke to Customer Service and they confirmed same arrangement as last game with tickets being available online at 9am on game day.
Apparently information coming out later this afternoon through social media channels.

Watched game 5 and 7 at the dome. They were almost as loud as actual home games. Way younger crowd too.

Pat Steinberg was hinting last night that the Red Lot is going to expand capacity (beyond 5,000).

They mentioned on the radio that red lot tickets will not be transferable. So people will not be able to grab tickets and sell them.

That is good and bad I guess. Where that falls apart is that if I get 4 tickets for myself and three friends I can't actually send them a ticket each so they can arrive whenever they want. We have to show up together and scan from one device if I properly understand the system.

Fans can obtain a maximum of two (2) tickets each
We ask that you please only secure what you know you will use to avoid wasted tickets
Please arrive early, as space is subject to availability if arriving after puck-drop
A ticket to the Flames game will not provide access to RED Lot
RED Lot tickets have no cash value and are now non-transferable

Yeah, I was on the Mile after the game 7 W and saw a cop standing in the back of a police truck recording people. Definitely a visible police presence there. But they seemed pretty friendly anyway, one of em said Go Flames Go to me as I walked by.
I didn't mind them, didn't really care about the recording either. They're just making sure no-one starts slippin'.
