I though Ritchie, Lewis and Lucic played great together last night.

Will there be? Teams almost never disclose, especially Sutter teams.
If I had to guess, it's a back injury and he's gone for a while.

Kylington came back and played a regular shift after his tumble, didn't he? Can't be that bad. And now 3 days to recover.
That said, Ollie was a bit of a fire drill this series, his randomness getting the better of him a little. If he's not 100%, that could be dangerous.

If Sutter's issue with Ruzicka is about having a consistent second effort, I wouldn't expect to see him in the playoffs unless there are forward injuries.

I thought Zadorov would have some cracked ribs after getting tripped into the goal post yesterday.

People talking about Jarnkrok woes in the FO know he won 11 of 18 in game 7 right?

Jarnkrok has been one of our best players in my opinion.. He's just not scoring. He's doing everything else. He's a massive reason for the Toffoli goal last night.

He is playing very hard and winning a lot of puck battles. I feel pretty confident in his game, just not scoring.
People are being way too hard on him, it's not like he's a liability out there.

Agreed
He’s noticeable in a positive way on the ice
Just not showing up on the scoresheet but is doing a lot of things right for the team

The fact Tanev missed Game 7 is extremely worrisome, he's the kind of player that would literally play through anything for that moment. Hoping whatever the ailment is, it was mis-diagnosed and a few days of rest do the trick.
I'm on the fence now whether to insert Ruzi in now, in place of Ritchie. That line was pretty serviceable when they played. With the makeup of the Oilers D, if that line does their job and gets it deep and punishes them, the wear and tear could literally make that D fold early. On the other hand Ruzi has the size too and obviously has an better skill set. Not sure yet about that one.
Jarnkrok is on the verge I think, he had some real grade A chances in game 7, just need 1 to break the dam. I was also impressed with his board play. I like that line of Dubs, Toffoli and Jarnkrok.

Yeah, you know that Tanev play through a game 7 if it were at all possible. You would have to think that it is serious enough to keep him out for a while at this point.
It's difficult to even tell from the replay if it's the knee or ankle, but either way, injuries in those areas don't tend to be quick fixes.

Agreed. Hoping for a miracle. I actually really liked Sutters strategy of deploying 7 D and 11 F. Stones shot is too strong to leave up in the press box.

There is no reason to take Ritchie out on the 12 & 6 lineup

I think we're way over thinking the face off dot given the team Calgary just played.
The Stars were the best team in the regular season in the dots, and repeated that in the post season.
Faksa and Seguin were ranked 4th and 5th in the post season for playoff wins.
The Oilers best in the dot and only guy over 50% in the LA series was McDavid, though LA has some tough centers too.
Jarnkrok was a solid 53.3% in the regular season, and the Flames best drawsmen of guys that had any kind of volume.

I take some hope from no information in this case, as I think it more likely we would have heard if he's done for the season etc if that was the case.

Ritchie brings enough speed and will get in a bang the d on the forecheck. That's not the game Ruzicka plays. Ritchie is a good 4th line playoff player.
