It's Friday the 13th... Johnny wears #13... He was also born on a Friday the 13th... Flames won game one 10 days ago... 13-10 = 3. Therefore, hat trick by Johnny tonight
It has been so long since the last Battle of Alberta, I'm amazed any Flames fan doesn't want a series with the Oilers.
I hate them with the power of 10,000 suns, and want them to lose everything, always.
THAT is why I don't want a Battle of Alberta, because it means they won game 7.

If ... IF (IFFFFF) you advance this is found money.
Team advances without his production but his chance generation suggests he's about to go on a heater.
Yup. Obviously they need to actually win and advance first, and I am not counting those chickens yet, but if (and assuming) they do, a lot of things are setting up well for continued success. The offense really hasn't gotten untracked yet, with several guys seemingly on the verge of breaking out (Toffoli, Mangiapane, Backlund...), the goaltending is right where you want it to be, remaining pretty healthy so far ( )...
Take it from an old man. If you are in Calgary and have the option of heading down to the Red Lot, DO IT. If they win you'll remember it for the rest of your life. Any discomfort or difficulty in doing so will be forgotten.
Let's go Flames!

The history of this franchise will always cause me to hold back from getting excited. However, I feel oddly calm before this game. They have been the better team for most of the series. If - and it's a big if - the Flames are able to play with pace tonight, then I do not think that Dallas can keep up.
Every game has been very close and tight checking, but game 5 was a near perfect game by Dallas. That's two losses in the last period this year by Dallas to Calgary. Even though they are a veteran team, I wonder if they might start to doubt themselves or cheat a touch on defensive responsibilities to try to generate more offense. It might be tough messaging for the coach to Dallas to say keep doing the same thing as you will get results when the team hasn't been getting those results.

I really hope Darryl leaves Magiapane-Backlund-Coleman together all game, especially after what they did in Game 5. That’s a fantastic line, has been all season, leave it alone. And win.

Mangiapane-Backlund-Toffoli at the morning skate? Mangiapane-Backlund-Coleman single handedly won the last game for the Flames. Not to mention they've played great when together previously.
I hope it's more playoff gamesmanship. I want Tkachuk back to line 1, Coleman line 2, Toffoli line 3.
Super to excited to watch tonight's game though. Go Flames!
I really want to watch the game tonight, but I missed the last 2 and the Flames won both
I probably shouldn't watch. I was flying during the entire Game 5. I got on the plane when it started and got off when it was over.
But moreover,
- I couldn't bear to watch overtime v. The Nucks in the cup year
- I watched Game 6 over time v. LA, as well as Game 7 OTs v. Vancouver, Edmonton and San Jose
- I couldn't bear to watch overtime v. the Nucks when Gelinas scored
So yeah I probably shouldn't watch.

Here's the 2&7 commercial with the Flames from 1980
