Awesome resiliency by the boys! Down a goal in a series where whoever scored the first goal won, they didn’t give up. Pretty big statement game. Also Mang beating Ottinger with that filthy shot was incredible! One more win to go!

I hope that shirt stays off until Saturday. No, I don't care what kinds of looks you are getting at work.

Markstrom with another game where he only let in one. A flukey one, at that. What a feeling to not worry about goaltending.
Ramo, Hiller, Elliott, Johnson, Smith... Those were some wild times

Ramo was fine and he beat the Canucks. He was never the same after that injury.

Rick Ball with some amazing calls tonight. Very fortunate to have him as our regional PBP guy and calling this series.

I can't help but think the Flames have secretly pulled off the Goalie Captain move. Marky is the Captain.

Just got back from a Red Mile walk, it was glorious. Almost wish I could get in one, but leading workshops all day tomorrow says otherwise...

His call on the Mangiapane goal gave me chills
he's what every young PxP commentator should aspire to be

That was a great little clip and showed how much better he is than some other PBP guys.

And he can stick with the Flames the whole run through until the finals when we get Cuthbert.

|
He has talent and skill, and always has, problem is he avoids contact and danger areas at all times, so that a lot of plays die becuase of that, whether not staying in a scoring zone or any other spot in the offensive zone where he may have to take some contact to make a play or scoring chance. Again, especially as the role of a 2c on this team.
He actually went to the front of the net on his goal where usually he stays on the perimeter. Now, on that goal, he went undetected and wasn't touched from the blue line and found the soft spot in the open. If he had to fight through two defenders to get there, not sure it would've happened, but inconsequential.
On the pass to Mangipane he again found that open space in the neutral zone after a good pass from Zarodov and hit Mangini was skating with speed already.

He has been great.
And credit where it's due, Dallas has played exactly how they should against a Flames team that is simply better and deeper.
It's refreshing to see the Flames go to another level in game 4 & the 3rd tonight, to which Dallas just can't get to.
When this team elevates, Dallas isn't on our level.
