No one is talking about that 3 min shift in the second. They were dominant. Tough penalty call after the icing.

I reverted to my irrational anti Markstrom ways at the end if that game. Luckily I've come to my senses...but that game got the emotions going.

I would have praised Backlund's game right up until that elbowing penalty. Just a stupid time to do that. His second penalty should have been a holding the stick call in Dallas.

I thought that was a prime example of a game management penalty call.

Dube had a really good game. Sutter was a bit negative on “the younger players” but IMO maybe just Kylington and Mangiapane? Hanifin was good, Rasmus was good aside from the ill advised shot.

We will see Wedgewood in this series. Hopefully at least twice.

On the contrary, he was great and it's a one in a lifetime thing. He's not going to be able to do it again. Next season may be.

That was a statement game for Gaudreau, Tkachuk and the Flames in general.

Been taking a beating lately but getting better as they go.

Let’s not forget JG’s wheels to split Dallas D to get the PS.

Watching Seguin, Dallas knows they are on the ropes.

Said this last game and maybe before Game 2 as well, but once Dallas gets down by 2 realizes they aren’t one or two lucky bounces away from tying a game, and they have to break their defensive shell even a little, they know they are in trouble for giving up more because they just can’t keep up and match 4 lines coming at them in waves….unless you give them dumb power plays.

Wow - that was a hell of a statement game. But it only means something if there is equal or better follow-up. I would expect that Mr. Sutter has made that clear, or will.

IN SUTTER WE TRUST!!

Best 200 foot efforts belong to Lewis and Coleman

Both SC winners.. coincidence? I think not!

That's why you get them.

The Flames are gaining confidence and starting to hold the puck in the offensive zone for several minutes at a time, moving their feet and confusing the coverage by rotating around in the attacking zone. That’s how they dominated in the regular season.

Loved tonight.

A playoff run will include teams of different styles. Tonight they showed if they play their game they can beat Dallas kind of team. In future they might be the Dallas style team. Who f cares. Just win.
