I was going to add this, yeah.

The C of Red crowd is "too snooty" please! Whoever comes in will get the full Adam Fox or Ricci treatment, I have no fears about the Calgary playoff crowd bringing it.

All it takes is one incident... or comment.... for the crowd to find a taunting target.

Opposing goalie is usually the target at the first sense of weakness.

I like the idea of a LOOOOOOOOCH-like "DOOOOOOOOOOOOOUCHE" chant every time Duchene touches the puck (or gets his head taken off)

That's an easy one to get the crowd into too.

Sorry you're right, apparently my coffee this morning did nothing.

Avs beating Ritter should be a walk in the park.

Yeah I think we are on a collision course with Dallas after the Soros injury. Assuming both Dallas and Nashville beat the Coyotes, it really comes down to if Dallas can get at least a point against the Ducks. Seems likely to me

Stranger things have happened but best case scenario i see is Nashville and Dallas coming out tied, with NSH owning the tie breaker. I don't see Nashville finishing ahead with Saros down. Ducks have proven to be not entirely useless in the past though.

60-70% chance we land Dallas.

This is his final season. He's finally retiring. He turns 79 in a month.

Arizona might play spoiler for someone too in their games vs Nashville and Dallas.

They somehow beat Minnesota last night.

The 2nd gag has me laughing out loud each time I see it. Like did the first gag not send a signal to his brain that this is unpleasant so he takes another big whiff, just to be sure?

That, or he knew the camera was on him and he'll become Forever a Flame simply because of this moment.

I know we have already determined they would be better to blow them out, but regardless if the way to draw the Preds was to throw it, it's not a great idea. You want to go in to the post-season rollin' like we are.

Soccer has endless anthems and chants, usually specific to their team, and they go the entire game.

Wish we could try something new, but not enough people in the stands are "in the know" enough to catch on probably.
Fan clubs mostly come up with those. Quite often on roadtrips. Long bus rides give plenty of time to think of chants and practice them. It also helps that fan clubs typically go to games as big groups instead of being scattered all around, and they also go to every game.

It likely wouldn't take THAT much to start organizing something like that in Calgary.

Get some fans together, find a place where you can meet and drink, start thinking of chants, steal some existing chants or make them your own, accept that you'll be lucky to come up with any good ones to begin with, then practice the best chants by yourselves. (You WILL need to drink to do that )

When you got a couple, then you go to games to try and get them going. It will take some organizing, and it might take some time to get other people to join in (as in, several games), but the reward is feeling like a legend and possibly becoming a part of Flames tradition.

Once you have some, you can also try recording them and posting them on CP.
