Hey look at that elden ring with another patch. It fixed two separate invasions thst you couldn’t access past a certain point that killed a quest line and allegedly fixed the broken mausoleum. They buffed all incantations and didn’t seem to nerf much at all. Faith builds unite and spam blasphemous blade for victory.
I went with an astrologer build but it looks like they finally made intantations a viable alternative to sorcery as I found in past dark souls games that sorcery was always considerably more powerful.
Not sure what Sega was thinking with this new Sonic Origins collection...
Only 4 16-bit remastered games, but charging $50 for it.
On top of that price you need buy locked features as DLC.
Only the pre-ordered digital deluxe edition ($65) has everything.
Anyone remember Sonic Mega Collection? It had 7 Sonic games and 4 other Genesis games. The Plus version later on had a bunch of Game Gear games too. This feels like a rip-off.

Spoiler!
Well you could just wait for it to show up on Gamepass and PS+ like every other Sega game seems to
I might do a STR/Faith build for my next playthrough. The incantation cast time feels like they've been halved!
I started out as STR/Faith but then quickly became pure Faith as I progressed. Even before this patch, I found my incantations and blasphemous blade just slapped stuff around. I'm now playing my dual wield bleed build and finding things a bit harder than with my other character.

I like to go full sorcery as I still have the original short sword (levelled to 4) and original astrologer armor and I only use the sword for backstabbing as I pump all my points into intelligence and mind. Once you get Meteorite Staff and ramp up your intelligence the crystal spells take down pretty well anything from a distance and I just got rock sling which is supposed to be maybe the best spell.

It must be a play style thing because I found a Dex/arcane bleed build was like playing on easy mode (for most enemies not all)
I get my ass kicked when I try using colossal weapons and strength build so maybe I should respec to a Guts build and fail miserably for a while. Was thinking of a dragon poker and lightning build too. You know for fun.
…you talking about Turtle Power in such a dismissive manner is deeply upsetting to me.
Yes because it's a bunch of paper and cardboard, printed with art that is anachronistic to the era of the games included in the collection... And also since I was able to buy all of these this year for less than what the Cowabunga Collection Limited Edition Cost

Finally got around to starting Yakuza: Like a Dragon. I had planned to play the entire series from start to finish, but got to #4 and it was getting pretty stale. Decided to start up LAD, given how good the reviews were.
Really enjoying it. Engaging story, great graphics and voice acting, and the new fighting system is pretty fun once you get used to it.

I'm also tempted to try a Colossal build myself. Also, apparently there's a major bug with multi-phase bosses since the latest patch where if you put a status effect on a boss as it transitions to their second phase, they die instantly. Trivializing a lot of the boss content.
If you don't want your game ruined by this keep it in mind until they fix the bug with a patch.
I have no honour and would cheese the hell out of that if it’s true. Apparently Malenia is bugged too now and randomly heals herself without hitting you.

Judgement is also a bit different but still the same fighting engine as the OG Yakuza series and the same maps over and over again.

I have already gone through the game once so nothing would be 'ruined' by this bug for me either, so yes I would also cheese the #### out of it. Bleed build means you basically can't avoid the bug.
I bought MLB The Show 22 for the Switch and it's decently playable. The biggest complaints are the lack of anti-aliasing and slow framerates during cut scenes. It looks better handheld, which is fine because that's how I prefer to play it.
I tried it using Xbox streaming but the lag made it tough to play. I would love it if there was a PC port so hopefully next year.
