Wear red. If you have nothing red, go to nearest Value Village and get something red.

			Come on.
Being a contrarian is fun and all, but if you're serious about supporting the team, you need to be part of the team and quit thinking of yourself as a special snowflake. Solidarity is important. It's a massive intimidation factor to come into a building where ALL the fans are on the same page, cheering wildly, and wearing RED...and ONLY RED.

This isn't hard. Do the right thing.

Yeah I think this is one of those times where the "no one is going to tell me what do do" crowd should take a pause ...
I have a new white Mangiapane jersey, and I don't even let myself wear it to regular season games. There is certainly something amazing about a red wall of fury at a playoff game, and the white and black jerseys interrupt it.

 That's just a fact.

We're special, as a collective fan base, if everyone is on board. Most fan bases will fill out the majority of their arenas with team jerseys during the playoffs. We want the "C" of Red to be one of a kind. It's different when every single person there is part of the same message, willing to make a small sacrifice in the choice of the colour of their clothing for the good of the team. And if we are unified in the choice of our clothing, it encourages everyone to also be supportive in loudly cheering together in support of the Flames.
Just imagine how hard it will be to wear an opposition jersey to the Dome when you're the only one, and how intimidating it will be for opposing teams to come in, looking around to see any sign of support, and finding none. That's what we want in the Dome for the playoffs. Nothing short of that will do. We have suffered long enough as a fan base, it's time to help the Flames make the most of this coming playoff run that we have waited so long for.

TIL wearing red to a Flames playoff matchup is a hard concept for some people to grasp.

Not a bunch of people forming the letter C in red jerseys. |
The official name and "brand" is the C of Red:

The "pun" is that the fans also create a "sea" of red jerseys in the the crowd, but it has always been called and referred to as the C of Red.

			Genuine Question:
Is the current retro home jersey red enough? The older red with black C is undeniably the red that has traditionally made up the C of Red.

If someone has both, which should they wear?

The reds on the jersey have never changed.
The white C tricks your eyes to make the jersey look like a lighter red, but it is, in fact, the same.

People who wear something other than red to a Flames playoff games are the same kind of people who reheat garlicy, eggy fish in the office microwave. Listen to music in public on a speaker. Stop at a zipper merge (also don't let people in at a zipper merge). Say "that means it's free" at the checkout counter when an item doesn't scan. They won't return their shopping cart when they're done with it. Own an MLM. Post vague messages on social media fishing for attention because they feel so starved of it they crave that attention above all else.

People who wear red aren't necessarily saints. Far from it. Plenty of screw ups, reprobates, and degenerates wear red to playoff games. But unlike the people who don't wear red, they aren't complete failures and were able to do at least one thing right.

 In short, wear red.

Do you think there's any chance of snatching up playoff tickets for a non-Calgarian? I have 3 red jerseys and one in the mail from eBay so I could wear a different red jersey each game.

You have as good a chance as any. Everything is online these days.

I bet there will be a considerable portion of STHs wanting to recoup some cost and will sell games.
