I think the concerning part of this game is the way they are losing. Yes the flames don’t have much to play for in a meaningless game but their careless play and turnovers have resulted in a very poor effort. Does this team have that next gear to elevate their game come playoff time? Too early to say at this point, and certainly can’t make that assessment after one poor outing, but people who are worried are justified in my opinion. We’ve seen this team struggle in past years when it really mattered. Let’s hope Sutter has reinforced enough good traits to overcome past failures.

I’ve posted 3 worrying posts so will stop but look at how teams like Dallas, Minny, Vegas etc are playing right now (in meaningful games) and you have think they have a pretty good advantage heading into the playoffs.
