Last chance saloon still open for the Nucks. They probably have to win out though.

I can’t see LA giving up their playoff spot in the division. They play Colorado tomorrow but after that it’s a cake walk.

Columbus
Anahiem x2
Chicago
Seattle
Vancouver

Meanwhile Vegas has

Edmonton
New Jersey
Washington
San Jose
Dallas
Chicago
St Louis

That's a relatively light schedule for Vegas still.

That is, after they face us.

true but it also means Thatcher Demko is a franchise goalie so most in Nuckleheadland are fine with that trade

how is this relevant at all?

Canucks started winning when they were totally out of it, then got close and started losing again, then when totally out again started winning.

They already knew their goalie was fine, their capped out team sucks and can't handle pressure...and are likely getting the worst possible pick for a non playoff team.

No Demko was a huge question mark at the begining of the season

Anaheim won't be easy, it would be like us with a chance to knock the Oilers out.

well not to me, I think most people thought he was really good....rest of the team though? not so much.

They have been rebuilding for years, stars are already on their 2nd contracts. Season is a disaster for the Canucks no matter how they try and spin it.

IMO of course

oh and Miller is as good as gone after next season, their top scorer

This offseason will be the new management team trying to fix the problems of Benning and Co. They have some assets who will be valuable in a trade through. They aren't a very good team, but they have some good players at every position... Albeit with some very overpriced players, particularly on the back end. Having Luongo come off the books will help as well.

There were 2 games with 1-0 scores. The Stars won in reg time. Wedgewood with the 25 save SHUTOUT.

The Predators needed OT to win it. Saros also made 25 saves for the SHUTOUT. Kahkonen made 40 in the loss., he was excellent in net.

That was a thumping the Capitals did on the Flyers, 9-2.

Just give John Gibson all 3 stars as he made 52 saves in the 3-2 OT loss to the Panthers.

The Hurricanes beat the Rangers 4-2, Aho with 3 points. The Hurricanes keep 2nd place in the Eastern conf, 4 points up on the Rangers.
