He has taken his game to a new level this year (as have his linemates). He is incredible with the puck, and he thinks the game so well that his stuck in molasses skating stride doesn’t even matter. I feel like he’s getting overlooked a bit this year, but he is an absolutely elite level player.
Mathews with his likely 60+ goal season and is neck-and-neck with Johnny on points.
Roman Josi. He's going to reach 100 pts as a d-man. Incredible.
Johnny is having an amazing season, especially the even strength points, but there are some other serious candidates this year.
It is honestly incredible the seasons these guys are having. To me, it should be pretty much a toss-up between these 3 guys. I have no doubt Matthews will win it though because of the edge that he has being in the Toronto market.
I do think gaudreau’s season is the most impressive when you look at how much less he plays than anyone else and how many points he puts up at even strength. It’s something not seen in decades.
It was such a disgrace that Iggy was robbed of the hart trophy in his prime. Sucks that the same thing will likely happen to Gaudreau.
This year we have some cool potential seasonal milestones for some of our guys.. Last time we had even one 40 goal scorer was 12 years ago.

I don't know what I am missing, I see you updated this today based on the edit time, but the numbers (GR - games remaining etc) don't seem to have changed.
