I received the new home shirt today, and it does not disappoint! The red is more of a true red, (as opposed to prior years where I felt they were too orangey for my preference). Anyway...I can't wait to get out to some matches in the sun to show this bad boy off a little!

My kids like watching soccer and hockey on TV. I took my 3&4 year old to a Flames game and they loved it.
When I explained to them that there is another stadium where they play soccer that we can go watch they absolutely went berserk. I can't wait for the season to start and now share the experience with my kids.

Pylon orange (though the kit is approaching red) works for the level of play for the Oilers and Edmonton FC.
Hopefully Cavalry does go back to green as looks to be the case. Maybe white with a green sash?

Anyone planning to go to the York/Cavalry game in Toronto on the 22nd? I just realised last night that I have to be there that night and have nothing going on, so I might as well go cheer the boys on. Do they have an away supporters section or anything there?

I think I know someone going to that game. Don't think there is enough demand for an away section though. Won't exactly be sold out though so I'm sure you can move around.
