Milestone countdowns - Johnny, Lindy and Chucky milestones achieved!
Gaudreau one for 40 to have a three pack of 40 goal scorers!

On cool milestones, something I've been watching (don't know why). If Gaudreau can get 26 pts in the final 19, he'll be at a career ppg.

Oooh boy what a few days!
Gaudreau needs 10 pts for 100 in 17 games remaining.
Gaudreau needs 10 assists for 70 (first time in 32 years)
Lindy needs 6 goals for 40.
Tkachuk needs 3 goals for career high and already has career high in points.

70 even strength points this season, ten up on the next guy. That's utterly incredible.

Flames have 17 games left and Tkachuck is only 18 points away from that mark too.
Had Lindholm's finishing been what it is right now in December and January he'd be inline for 50 goals.
I think the 107 points that Guy Chouinard put up in 78-79 is the second highest total in Franchise history after Nilsson's freak season. Looking forward to seeing Gaudreau eclipse that total. I think Fleury in 93 is the last Flame to hit the Century mark so that's almost 30 years ago now.

GOAT!

Johnny is now sitting at 584 points in 585 games. Literally on the verge of becoming a career point-per-game player.

12 years between 40-goal scorers would be some kinda poetry.

With 20 games remaining, Gaudreau was 20 points away from 100. Now, with 17 games remaining, he's 10 points away.
It's still a long-shot at this time, but I'd love to see Lindholm join Loob as the only Swedes to score 50 in a season. He has 16 goals in his last 20 games, so 16 in 17 isn't a huge stretch.

I always had the feeling that Johnny’s best years were still ahead of him even after 2018-19. He noticeably slowed down in the second half of that year and this year he’s been killing it in the 2nd half

If Johnny gets 70 assists, he would tie an NHL record for assists in a season by a left winger. That record was set in 1992-93 by...
Joe Juneau.
Go figure.

Crazy that even Iginla didn't hit 100 points here, shows how difficult a mark it is

Iggy had 94 pts in 70 games in 06-07 and would have Iggy-smashed that mark. Was on pace for 110 points, had a good chance to score 50 goals, would have been a Hart candidate (was the leading choice at the halfway mark of the season) and probably a dark horse for the Art Ross, all what beating the #### out of anybody who stood in his way. What a beast he was that season.
But of course, the ONE season in his entire career that he has big injury (from I believe Souray), it just happens to be IMO his most dominating season and he never got to hit that sweet 100 point mark

Yeah decent chance Gaudreau may end up in 2nd spot in both assists and points.
With goal scoring down in the last 20 years honestly never thought we'd see anyone challenge those heights.
Really puts his season in perspective.

Milestones are cool but mean nothing without playoffs, wins and that experience.
Im excited too but these guys actually seem focused on something bigger.
Johnny has a fire in his eyes I've never seen before and I hope he realizes why it's different this year aside from it being a contract year.
I'd rather have made some noise in the playoffs and gotten close or played in the final at least then I wouldn't be going down as a great producer in the regular season but always be known as a guy that never won anything and was known as a one trick pony.
Thank God Darryls back doing exactly what he Intended when he came back....teaching these young men something about winning in this league and how to do it.

At this point both Johnny and Lindholm have been so impressive, I'm don't even know what is a surer bet... Johnny for Hart or Lindy for Selke?
