Why can't we get a save against this team?

Yet another game where the shots are pretty even, but the quality of the chances are not.

This isn't a 3-2 game, it should be 5-1 or even 5-0

I'm glad Tkachuk is back on the Backlund line, that line looks a lot more dangerous with him on it.

Gudbranson is definitely not anywhere near as slow as we all thought at the start of the year.

Toffoli’s had 3 nice chances. He’s been a little cold but he’s gonna score tonight.

He owes me 3 goals from the GDT, he better start scoring tonight. I can settle for a goal an assist and a fight though...

His best chance he fanned. That was a nice effort at the end of the period though.

I get that you want to post when they score.

But posts like this add nothing, and they kind of ruin it for the rest of us by telling us that nothing happens in the last minute.

It's a fight between Lucic and Monahan to see who comes out for Carpenter.

That's not much of a fight.

OK, so that’s a fact. Unsurprising since he’s the 4th line centre and played no special teams (and Lucic takes longer shifts).

It was not a fact that Sutter sat him the rest of the period. He kept him out fir a shift right after the goal. Then there was a PK, after Markstrom’s penalty, and then Sutter threw the offence out to end the period.

The notion that he was benched for a failed clear is iffy.
