My guess is this is another part of whatever personal situation(s) Harmonic has had going on these past years since requesting to come to Western Canada with the Isles and stay in Canada with Canucks.

The pick is apparently the Canucks' own third that was previously traded to Vegas for Nate Schmidt.
Could they be planning on an offer sheet this summer and need to reacquire their own picks? They have also traded their second rounder to Arizona, so we'll see if something happens there.

Also, I looked up to see how many games he has played this year because I don't remember seeing him at all last night and assumed he was a healthy scratch. Imagine my surprise when I saw he played almost 19 minutes.
