Man...their #1 industry for Gross Domestic Product must be "The Printing of BS and Meaningless Medals and Trophies."
Seriously, what would these medals be for in the Chinese military? Medal of Honour for Rounding Up Uyghurs. Shield of Merit for Harvested Kidneys? Silver Star of Proletariat Suppression?
Where has Russia been portrayed as an invincible military power? I'm not aware of anyone who thinks that. They have nukes, but in terms of conventional power... nope.

I imagine a few of them are for length of service milestones. After that, you are probably on the right track.

In the 70's and 80's the impending war in West Germany was seen as a smaller better equipped NATO trying to stem the steamroller advance of the massively powerful soviets, and bearing in mind how great the collective numbers of all of the Warsaw Pact were this wasnt far wrong, were we haven't adjusted our thinking is how much corruption has eaten into Russia's ability, basically Russia has destroyed itself.
MOD map updates for the day. Russia's Central MD Grouping has pushed southward and taken a larger chunk of North Ukraine bringing the eastern frontlines up to Chernihiv with the city now fully encircled. Meanwhile in the south, Southern Russian MD grouping and airborne elements have taken control of a large area stretching Bilmak to Volnovakha north of Mariupol. Ukrainian counter offensive from the Yuzhnoukrainsk nuclear power plant has pushed back Russia's Southern MD grouping forces close to Nova Odessa up to west of Mykolaiv, but the Russians have advance further north east of that city. https://twitter.com/user/status/1505129589043048448 https://twitter.com/user/status/1505320790086062083
Russia hit Ukraine very hard the first day and had the element of first strike on their side, but after that first initial losses and logistics start becoming a factor, losses are getting extremely one sided. Also despite Ukraines losses shown, they have captured more then they lost.

Ukraine has no defense against the hypersonic missile used to destroy the weapons depot in the west today.
If Russia starts to widely use these ballastic missiles you have to think the destruction of cities will accelerate dramatically.

I think the US needs to supply Ukraine some SM-6's(ERAM) and arm them with some ground launched Tomahawk's to take out some launch sites deep inside Russia.
Met an American guy from Houston last night, he seemed to be firmly on the side of the Russians and even suggested he'd rather have Putin as POTUS than Biden. Was an eye-opening conversation to say the least.

No independent or Ukrainian source has confirmed that strike actually happened, and even if it did, it doesn't matter because Ukraine hasn't been able to defend itself against previous missile attacks either. So no, it will not accelerate anything.
It's just more pointless attempts at propaganda.

When I heard of the Russian claim I wasn't so sure either but now it seems US officials are confirming it. We'll see I guess
