4 points in a must win game, including the GWG. Love to see it.

Harvard plays Quinnipiac tomorrow for the ECAC championship. If they win, they continue on to the NCAA Tournament. If they lose, their season will be done.

Coronato now leads Harvard in goal scoring with 15, and he's tied for second in points with 29.

Should be 17 goals, and 33 points-it takes awhile for College stats to update on most sites for some reason. On the 14th, he had 15 goals and 29 points.

Yup, they've finally updated it.
He's first on the team in both goals and points, with 33 points in 32 games, putting him over the point-per-game mark.

Trevor Zegras had 36 pts in 33 games in his first (and only) year in college-a ppg of 1.09. Coronato has 33 pts in 32 games for a ppg of 1.03.
Alex Turcotte, the highly touted prospect for LA had 26 pts in 29 games.
Cole Caufield had 36 in 36, with 19 goals.
Matt Boldy had 26 in 34.
Bobby Brink, who is small but was very popular with scouts in his draft year, had 24 pts in 28 games in his first year in college. He was drafted 34th overall in 2019 by Philly.

Coronato scores the GWG in OT and Harvard is going to the NCAA Tournament. Tomorrow at 6:30pm ET, they and Notre Dame will find out where they'll be playing in the tournament next weekend.
Also, insanity in the CCHA championship...

The apparent OT GWG was scored. The winners celebrated and everyone was in the room when someone noticed the puck actually went in under the goal frame, so they've now restarted the game... and it's over. Same team wins anyway.

Another 2 point game gives Coronato 18G / 17A / 35P in 33 games.
4 more goals and 3 more points than anyone else on the team.

Gotta say this offensive explosion from Coronato in the highest impact moments was not expected. Great to see.

It will be impossible for the Flames to have more than one prospect in the Frozen Four this year. Harvard and Notre Dame will both start the NCAA Tournament in the Albany, NY Regional next week.
Harvard will play Minnesota State Thursday morning at 10am MT.
Notre Dame will face the other UND, North Dakota at 4pm MT on Thursday.
The winners of these games will meet on Saturday at 2pm MT to determine who will be headed to Boston for the Frozen Four.

Not looking good so far for Coronato and Havard against Minnesota State this morning. Minnesota State is leading 3-0 about four minutes into the second period. The ice is pretty tilted in this one with the favorites living up to their billing.

Oh man. The Crimson battled back to 3-2, then fell behind again to 4-2 and were able to score on a powerplay with the goalie pulled to get within 1, but despite having a lot of zone time with the goalie pulled at the end of the game they couldn't get any shots through.
Coronato is going to have nightmares as he fanned on the puck three times with opportunities at the end of the game. He was able to come through in the past two outings with heroics, but it just didn't happen today.
I only watched portions of the game, but I thought that he played pretty well. Minnesota State was very good and they were shutting down a lot of plays all game, so there wasn't much ice to be had.
He got an assist and I saw him generate a great chance on a give and go. He's got a good motor and good puck skills and he puts himself in good spots to get chances. Too bad for Harvard, but they battled and showed a lot of heart.

So is that season over?
Wonder if he’s one and done?

Yes seasons over for Coronato. Would love for him to sign but I wouldn’t be surprised if he played 1 more year at Harvard.
