If they're looking for handedness balance then they wouldn't be looking for a 2B... Biggio is they're only LHH so going out and getting a lefty 2B is more a stand pat move. Biggio can play LF as well but then you may as well just go out and target a LHH outfielder.
I mean there are qualitative upgrades at 2nd that you can make but that doesn't really impact your handedness.
