Very interested to see the return for Gio if there’s a bidding war. Toronto is very capable of dumb deadline deals. Rangers are new to the POs and might think they need a splash.

What? You don't think they'll honour his 1000th game the next time he plays in Calgary? Seattle is here in April, but if he's traded (which seems like a certainty now), he won't be playing in that game and they don't play against any of the rumoured destinations this season.

Especially now with Jarnkrok this team has a zillion different PK combos they can put out there. It's become an extremely versatile team, especially with the past 2 trades. It's awesome.

What's really strange is the eastern conference is basically set for playoff teams, they'll just be jockeying for position, but out west, it's the Wild West. Seven teams within five points, and likely two of those are going to nab wild card berths. The west is going to be a war down the stretch.
