Canuck and Oiler lurkers wish their team could put up 10 straight and be leading the division.
Decent chance both teams miss the playoffs altogether.

Darryl is wily. Wouldn’t surprise me if he comes across as giddy in the presser.

Demko has been adequate, and that’s all he’s needed to be. Zero finish and lack of intensity are doing most of the work.

Which is kinda silly considering it was already 3-0...I imagine most backup goalies increase their DEFCON readiness level at that point

They’ll be 10-1 in their last 11.
Whatever. Onto the next one.

Really poor shot attempts on him tonight. Next to no second chances.

I think we need 2nd line C, Backlund and Monahan is not good enough for playoff run.

Pretty much.
And the Canucks and Oilers will be...... scoreboard watching the Ducks and Kings.

Wish Snet would show the Flames chances, Lindy one timer, Andersson shot, and so many chances that the forecheck created turnover in Canucks zone, but a pull back gone wrong or slight miss of the puck or a shot into the crest.
Flames have 20 something shots, my guess is they have a decent number of high chance opportunities.

A fun night this has been not.
Many penalties on the Canucks the refs have called not.
Many goals the Flames have scored not.
Meanwhile, I'm tending to my 9-yr old labradoodle that just got out of surgery for his second TPLO (it's like an ACL). He's only slightly less out of it and dopey than the Flames tonight.

Before the penalty shot they were leading in high danger chances.
Canuck PP parade changed the complexion of the game, whether you think it was unfair or legit.

The worst part about it is Gully is the coach still tied for the record… Hoping he was erased from Flames history.
