LOL. In HFOil they argued about whether Smith had an NTC/NMC. Smith is his own NTC.

Biting the hand that keeps the puck out.

Great strategy, worked well with Koskinen.

It’s funny because they were clamouring over the more split ice time and Derek Ryan was singing from the rafters about how much better it’s been… right back to 24+ for the princess duo.

We are going to be hearing for days about the epic battle the Oilers put up, and how they almost won!

Probably the closest, and most difficult, win for Tampa since, well, since the last time the Oilers visited.

Ahh yes, a good goalie. You could have the lovechild of Hasek and Roy (throw in a weird Brodeur family member for good measure) on crank and Dbol goaltending for Edmonton and he would still let in 4 goals every game.

Fricken idiot.

What you've got is a rusty TB team that hadn't played a game in 8 days who just about fell into a trap game, but lucky for them it was just the garbage oilers

That was the closest loss in the history of losses in pro sports. How the Oilers lost is just unimaginable. The score was like 4.9999999999 to 5.

Your best shut down defenseman is Cody Cece, but yes.. a goalie upgrade and all the problems go away.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the results have been the same in front of all three netminders bruh.

Tampa was playing with half intensity, these games are meaningless for them. They looked like they were yawning on the bench.

So Dallas just won and if LA gets a point the Oilers are out of a playoff spot tonight.

Coyotes have four shots in the first 20 minutes.

C’mon LA, you know what to do…

As much as the Oilers and their fanboys are clamoring for this to be a measuring stick game, the reality is the Lightning don't give a #### about the Oilers. They maybe care about 2 teams right now, the Panthers and Hurricanes, as they're coasting towards another massive regular season. And it showed. Outside a scrum after Yammamama ran into Vasilevskiy the Lightning did squat all and still won the game. The results would've been the same with prime Hasek in net for the Oilers. Because that's what the Lightning do. Win Hockey games. It's annoying 80 times a year. But absolutely glorious for 2. The Salt is unbelievably satisfying right now and I can't wait for Florida and Carolina to take care of business during the weekend as well.

“Hey Spec, can we talk?”

Trying too hard to get back in good graces with someone I see.

FYI the last man I heard talk like this was McTavish like 10 years ago. At least they only had 1 first overall pick at that point and not 4, when he spoke to the team like they were Team China and not a NHL team that was picked to content for the cup by some.

It is a repeat from this past Saturday, same time and place. The Coyotes also had four shots in the first period in that game!

The Stars win it in overtime, Seguin with the goal. The Jets were out shot 40-22.

Imagine drafting 1st overall 4 times with the last being McDavid and 7 years later bragging about losing a close game to a top team

damn nothing worse than getting every sport select pick correct but losing because one of the wins was in overtime..bye bye $400

At least the Coilers lost, eases the sting a bit
