I still believe the homes should be white, then rotate each year.

Oilers getting worked...score a flukey goal to open the scoring. C'mon Sharks, ya can't allow that s*** to happen.

So it gonna be that kind of a night. San Jose all over Edmonton. Edmonton’s first shot is a goal.

San Jose all over the Oilers. Oilers get a double deflection goal on their first shot. That's irritating.

I don't pay attention to the Sharts. Is Reimer the backup there?

Well I mean, there is no bigger guarantee in sports than the new coach bump in the NHL. I fully expect the Oilers to win like 5 of 6. Then the correction will happen and it will be glorious again.

Dominate the period, but down 2-0. Sharks should be ashamed of themselves.

Good news is the Oilers' schedule gets really ugly for them over the next couple of weeks. I predict they'll go 1-6 over this stretch, with their one win being against the Jets, because the Jets are terrible.

@ Kings
Ducks
@ Jets
Wild
@ Lightning
@ Panthers
@ Hurricanes

Those last 4 are where their dreams will go to die.

Lowly/declining teams are the Oilers' bread and butter because they don't have to play hard on defense.

And the Jets are a decent home team. Could see them dropping the last five.

Scheifele gets a lucky bounce goal...1-1 now. Would have been a Murphy own goal, but Scheifele gets a last instant touch.

It was cute when Michaels said that Couture was upset at the Oilers for passing over him in the 2007 draft. Because why would you want to play with one of the best franchises in the NHL over the last 15 years when you could play for the statistically worse franchise of the last 15 years? The hype train knows no bounds.

San Jose has looked like garbage since the 2 Oiler goals. Bobbling every pass. Looking indecisive with every play.

I can't believe how bad the Jets are. There's something rotten in that locker room.

Awful neutral zone turnover, DeBrincat unassisted. 2-1. Hagel with an ENG, from Kane and Fleury. 3-1 final.
