It's simple, on a public forum I don't need to be asked. Multiple people now disagree with your opinion on this. It's a learning opportunity for you

SPECIAL EDITION:

Treliving never lands the big fish.
Treliving never makes a real trade in-season.
Treliving only ever adds washed-up 4th-liners and depth defencemen at the deadline.
Treliving has never even heard that there is this position called ‘right wing’.

I don't know who this Toffifee guy is, but if Treliving traded for him, he's obviously garbage!

Muller and Gelinas each have one as a player too.

Gelinas and Sutter also have the missing one from 04.

ETA: Conroy too, though I suppose management doesn’t count.

Welcome Tyler, Go Flames! I cannot wait to see future highlights!
Good luck my brother! Former military as well. Wish you the best of luck and hopefully we won't see each other in Europe! Go Flames Go!!

You can always tell the posters posing as Flames fans that really aren't

Bennett is irrelevant in this deal...that move was made last season

If this deal happened last deadline I would have been perfectly happy to upgrade from Bennett to Toffoli while just downgrading from a 1st to a 2nd.

So consider that fine from my perspective.

Hell I'm okay with it in someways even with the hindsight of Bennett blowing up in Florida, because he still wasn't that guy here.

Yeah what were my opinions in this thread exactly? I had 2

1. Price was higher than I expected, drew a comparable to hamonic.
2. Replying to someone with an alphbatised list full of very basic info is condescending

Opinions from others I've recieved:

1. Don't be so sensative
2. Take a break
3. Location checks out
4. Replying shows you're sensitive
5. Eat a snickers

Seems a handful of folks here would rather attack users and put people down, than discuss the trade.

P.s. in my first post here I stated I'm excited about the acquisition but thought the price was high. Since then a few posters have replied with on topic posts, while the rest of you seem to have nothing better to do than tell me how to post and draw conclusion about my temperment. You are reading a message board, there is no context, no one here has any idea what mood a person is in based off a few words.

So if anyone else wants to try to aggravate me today, feel free to PM me. This has been enough off topic personal BS for this thread. Have a wonderful day.

IMO the ideal for this team is keeping Backlund's line intact, call them line 3, and run with Dube - New Centre - Toffoli as your second scoring line.

What we've run into in the past when checking the Backlund line against other team's top line is you neutralize them as a scoring threat, and depth has been too thin to get scoring elsewhere come playoff time.
Except the top line is pulling this duty this year soooo, now we can have 3 scoring lines.

He actually changed his location to "your mom's house" since being called out.

Oiler fans always come across like your insecure friends from high-school. To go under cover on a Flames board is something extra though.

All in. Go for the cup right now.

The best built team for playoff hockey
One of the best offensive teams in the league who just added one of the leagues top snipers
One of the two best defensive teams in the league.

Calgary is the team to beat in the West and we can still add.

Wrong poster my troubled stalker. I never mentioned Bennett in this thread.

If we're doing that we need to upgrade the center position somehow.

Then I'll be comfortable in saying we're here to compete.

Yo! This thread isn't about you.

Is your name Tyler Toffoli?

Take it to the DMs if you're gonna keep going on about this.

No one cares.

Monahan's game has been getting better at both ends of the ice, I'm growing less concerned about him as time goes on. The lack of offense is due entirely to his linemates. I would not be surprised if Toffoli starts on his line for that reason and if that's the case, his #'s will improve.

Adding Coleman and Toffoli to the right side has really transformed the RW position. Good work by Tree to do so without sacrificing scoring from elsewhere.
