Threatening message left in high school bathroom

I'm pretty sure the message said:

"Jim Playfair was here and will be back to be fired on March 22, 2007 approximately at 10:00 pm".

The only thing I can think of is a death threat. It is illegal to make death threats, so that is probably why the police are involved.

Not really news worthy, to be sure. But I would definitely read any article with Fotze's headlines!

A little off topic, but I'm currently upgrading at Chinook College right now. That school has a very large ethnic population. Anyways, I went to to take a **** today, and found a huge war of words between "brown" and "white" people all over the stall, some strong words and messages too. It was very disheartening to read, as I consider Calgary a pretty friendly city.

There are a few (not all, I'm one of the last people who would generalize) ethnic groups there that like to stand around and intimidate people. One of those kids was with his buddy in the hall about two weeks ago (his big "gang" of friends was no where to be seen), I was walking by, minding my own business when this little puke gave me a threatening look, so I gave him a "what's that look for" kind of look back, and he said "what the 'f***' are you looking at whiteboy, we outnumber you here, so you best be runnin along". Now I'm not normally confrontational AT ALL, but something about being told to 'run along whiteboy' in my own country set me off. I grabbed him by his shirt and threw him against a locker, and told him if he EVER fu**s around with me again, I'll kick his ass back to wherever he came from, and then threw him to the ground and walked away.

Has anyone else had a simlilar incident, where for one moment you got lost in emotion and did or said something totally out of charachter? The weirdest part for me is that I'm one of the least racist people around, and HATE hearing about racism towards minorities. But for whatever reason, I lost myself and came off as a racist jerk.

My brother goes there. I was talking to him today, apparently it was a pretty serious death threat/plan to take down the school with guns. There were police everywhere, guns and all. All the students were sent home.

racism truth #1: racism is not the sole realm of white people. asians, blacks, mexicans etc. have the ability to be just as racist as any white person. unfortunately, most people are too pansy to admit it.

THe guys a complete dick head, but how do you know he cam from somewhere? This could be his own country too.

I don't think you would have came across as racist. You're defending yourself against someone beign racist against you and that's fine. However, if this incident cause you to think all brown people are like him and judge them all based on him, that's racist.

I've had a few similar incidents in my life. The most recent was about 6 months ago.
I was going to Superstore to pick up a few things. I pulled into the parking lot to find this 1 white woman screaming at these 2 arab ladies. I figured it was an arguement over a parking spot or something stupid like that, so I ignored it and parked my car in the next lane over.
By the time I get out of my car, those ladies had all gotten into their own cars and the one white lady started to drive by me in the next lane.
She stopped her car, rolled down her window and yelled at me, "why don't you go back where you came from", "find another country to be your fu**in doormat".
Shocked as hell, I just looked over at her and said F-U. She says "what", so I yell F-U again and walk away towards the store. I go buy my stuff and come back out to my car about 5 min later to find she has broken both of my windshield wipers. This 1 guy saw her do it and got her license plate number for me. I called the cops about it, but it would have been too much of a hastle for me to pursue, so I just forgot about it and moved on.

moral of the story,
morons come in all sizes, shapes and colours. It's probably best just to walk away most of the time.

I dunno. If I was going to bomb something and decided to send out a warning (kind of defeats the purpose, I know, but bear with me here) I'd probably send the message in a more logical way if I wanted it to get read. An email to the principle, a fax to the school board, a call to the cops, a note slid under an office door. Something.

I can't believe how easily they shut down school nowadays. 6 years of junior/senior high and the only time off I got were the ones I took myself. It's bullplop.
