That feels like a big loss for the club. The need for midfielders now becomes even bigger. Congrats Nik, great player for the club and an amazing career.

Congrats to Nik, the exact leader and pro that we needed to kick off this franchise. Hope he stays with the organization in a coaching or management role! Would be a valuable asset and ambassador, IMO.

Ledgerwood was a class player. His time was up, good on him for hanging up his boots. I hope he remains involved with soccer in central AB.

Forge signed Ashtone Morgan and apparently Pacific are about to announce Amer Didic. Couple big moves. Don't know if I'm mentally ready to hate Ashtone yet.

Cavalry's season starts April 9 in Ottawa. Same league format as last year, but with 2 legged semifinals. Finals are on October 29. Full schedule out tomorrow at noon.

How do these typically fit? If I'm a Large Flames jersey, should I grab a large Cavs jersey?

I’d go XXL. They fit very small. I normally where a Large and the XXL fit much better.

Thanks. Although, it looks like that 2019 deal is gone already.

I accidentally picked up a couple of the 2019 jerseys. If anyone is interested, let me know. I’ll return the second one, otherwise. I got them shipped, so should be arriving any day now. The size was XXL

Schedule is out. The only weeknight games are in July. Would prefer more Saturday afternoon games to Friday night and Sunday afternoon but I won't complain too much.

The May 6 game in Edmonton though. Why? Why can't they make it easy for away supporters to travel?

Saturday Afternoon games are my least favorite games. I am happy with the schedule at a glance.

Because I'm a calendar nerd, I'll get that entered in the next day or two and share the link so you all can subscribe. If you have previously subscribed, it'll be the same URL so they should just appear like magic.

Generally not a bad schedule. I also don't mind the season format and I like that they've gone back to a two-legged semifinal. It gives each playoff club to host at least one playoff game, which is good for the supporters, growing the game, etc.

Being North America, I can live with a single match final. I think that is done so that they can promote it as bigger single event, and it is also attractive for TV purposes if OneSoccer is able to sub-license that out to a larger network, domestically and/or internationally.

That schedule looks great, lots of weekends and lots of variety. I’m excited already, hopefully we can get the attendance numbers up.

Agreed, the schedule is about as good as you can get for drawing people into games.

Well if FlamesFanStrandedinEDM is correct and a large = XXL for these jerseys then I'll definitely take one off your hands.

Has anyone had a jersey numbered and lettered in Calgary yet? Is there a place that does it correctly, or do either go blank or buy with name already on?

They have a press at Spruce Meadows that can do it. I’m not sure if it is a regularly offered thing but I’ve seen it on game days
